    Climacité© project (3 weeks)

An environmentally-focussed voluntary project to help the planet and other living beings. This project, carried out in Year 1, is an integral part of the DNA of the Bachelor in Business and reflects the ‘commitment and responsibility’ focus that students experience throughout the three years of the programme.

    Work-study: 12 to 24 months

You have the possibility of a Work-study Track in Year 2 on the Orleans campus and in Year 3 on all three Excelia campuses. This track will enable you to develop your professional skills in a real company and give you the opportunity of applying your theoretical knowledge in management.

Business Game / Workshop / Climate Fresco

Carried out as a company game or a board game, students work in teams to tackle and solve real-life business issues relating to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Expatriation at a partner university (1 semester)

You have the opportunity of academic expatriation in Year 2 of the programme for students based in La Rochelle, Tours or Orleans.

    Discover our partner universities

    Humacité© Project: 2 months

In Year 1 of the programme, you can undertake a social, humanitarian or civic voluntary project in an NGO or an association, which is carried out abroad. This is one of the unique features of Excelia, which is committed to educating students to become future managers who are both responsible and conscious of the importance of their role in society.

    Internships: 12 months of experience

Carrying out company-based internships, in France or abroad, is one of the compulsory parts of the Bachelor programme. By the end of your studies, you will have acquired some 12 months of real company-based experience.

    Student Clubs and Associations

Get involved and develop your soft skills and business competencies! Throughout Year 1 of the programme, you will carry out an association-based project, and in Year 2 you have the opportunity to choose the Association Management Track, participating in the running of one of Excelia’s 50 clubs and associations. In addition, it is a great way to settle into school life and experience something unique.

The School has a partnership with Disney World Resort in Orlando, giving students the opportunity to spend one semester studying in the USA at Delaware University (AACSB accredited), followed by a 6-month paid internship in one of the parks of the Walt Disney World Resort in Florida.

    Consultancy Project

In Year 3, you will take on the role of business consultant. Working in teams, you will tackle a real-life issue raised by a local company, focussing on the Sustainable Development Goals. Final work is assessed by different examination panels which select the 3 finalist teams, and then determine an overall winning team.

Personalised Support and Guidance from a Mentor/Coach

Throughout your studies, you will benefit from personalised support and guidance. You will develop an e-portfolio, known as 'My Digital Portfolio', a veritable digital identity to optimise your future employment prospects. In addition, you will receive personal mentoring from an industry professional who is an Excelia graduate and whose job reflects your professional project. Your mentor will help you to both evaluate the current job market and to develop your career strategy.
