    This Master of Science in International Business Management has been designed to train students to support companies in their projects and in the development of their international business operations such as Import-Export, Marketing, and International Logistics.

    The objectives of the MSc in International Business Management

    In a rapidly changing world, companies are looking for employees who understand these changes and are able to ‘reinvent’ business models in order to build and strengthen international strategies and operations.
    Internationalisation is both a key driver of growth and a factor of resilience. Our MSc in International Business Management provides you with expertise in management, marketing and international strategy, so that you are equipped to support and strengthen the development of international projects by factoring in multicultural considerations and the risks associated with international trade.
    You will develop a range of essential skills, including analysis of foreign markets in terms of risks and opportunities, the building, financing and management of international projects, sales development, and positioning and performance through negotiation and international trade operations.

    All you need to know about languages, assessment, lessons and your teachers

    Programme format and language:

    • The Classic Track is a full-time programme in 12 or 24 months, depending on the year you join in
      -24 months for students with a minimum of 3 years post-High School education or international equivalent (180 ECTS)
      -12 months for students with a minimum of 4 years post-High School education or international equivalent (240 ECTS)
       
    • English Track only

    Assessment:
    Three types of evaluation 

    • Continuous assessment: 40% of the final mark. Throughout the year, you will work on group or individual projects which will be marked by your teachers 
    • End-of-semester exams: 60% of the final mark. These take the form of written exams
    • Professional Thesis

     

    Your teachers:

    The teaching team for this MSc is made up of French and international research-active Faculty members and industry professionals who are known for their strong expertise in the field of management and their international experiences and expertise. 
    The research-active Faculty work with our laboratory, Excelia Lab, offering innovative pedagogy, whilst the industry professional lecturers focus on real-life business issues.

     

    Types of lessons: 

    Your core course modules are taught as amphitheatre lessons, with your entire Year Group. In addition, depending on your chosen specialisations, language ability, etc., you will attend tutorials in small groups.

    • Business Game

    Carried out as a company game, you will work in teams to tackle and solve real-life business issues.

     

    • Series of Lectures

    Throughout the year, industry professionals and experts present a variety of lectures, helping you to understand the different issues and problems facing their industry sector.

     

    • Climacité© Project : 2 months

    Through Climacité©, our students have the opportunity to make a personal contribution to the planet. By focussing on one of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals, the aim of the project is to raise awareness and educate students on the issues of environmental protection and how to effectively address climate change. 

    Students spend 2 months in an NGO or association, in France or abroad, undertaking a socially responsible, voluntary assignment to benefit the planet and other living beings.

     

    • Internships: 6 months of experience

    This Classic Track offers you the opportunity to carry out a minimum of 6 months of internship, in France or abroad. The theoretical expertise acquired during MSc lessons is therefore complemented and validated by significant company-based experience.

     

    • Experiential and Personal Development (EPD)

    This unique initiative stimulates the development of Soft Skills. In teams or individually, EPD aims to enable all students to reveal their full potential in a multicultural context.

    Multiservice charge

    Fee: €250

    This one-off Multiservice fee gives access to the following services: Multimedia and Internet network, Cyberlibris (online library), Student Identity Card, Reprographics credit, Intranet, e-learning modules, Wi-Fi, Career Centre activities and services, International Insurance-Assistance (for any periods spent abroad during the period covered by this contract), University library, University Medical Service etc.
