    Biography

Dr Myriam Benabid holds a Doctorate in Management Science from the University of Paris Dauphine, and is also a graduate of the Master in Management programme at Excelia Business School. She began her career in recruitment at Page Group and quickly joined the world of Higher Education, first as an occasional Lecturer in Human Resources and Personal Development, then by contributing to the management of Executive Education courses and finally by taking over as Head of the Bachelor programme at the Institut Mines-Télécom Business School (a position she held for 5 years). In addition to developing the international dimension and optimising the content and pedagogical approaches of this programme, Dr Benabid also contributed to the design and implementation of the pioneering ‘IMT Africa’ programme of the IMT Group in Dakar, called the Bachelor in Innovation, Management and Digital Technologies (a combination of engineering and management science). In parallel to her professional responsibilities, in 2018, she completed her thesis on informal modes of digital learning. A little more than a year and a half later, she joined Excelia Rochelle Business School as a research-active Faculty member and Head of the BBA International programme.

Dr Benabid has always been interested in the conception of training spaces, where student boredom is no longer an issue and learners thrive. Her activities and research focus on new forms of learning in the digital age and on andragogy, i.e. techniques that are specifically developed for adult learning. In addition, she has created a Podcast channel Génial ce prof! which shares pedagogical methods to help all those who want to convey their messages in an effective manner.
