Director of the Master of Science in Digital Communications and Influencing Strategy Anne-Laure CRESP

Digital innovation, Data and Artificial Intelligence are fundamentally altering the way business communications is conducted. Mastering technology, being creative, possessing a keen sense of customer relations, having the ability to develop a 360° strategic vision of communications... the combination of these skills will provide the foundation for the communications professions of tomorrow.

INFLUENCE is the new challenge in the communications of today. With the digitalisation of the media and the continued development of social media, influencers have become the new opinion leaders who can make or break a brand’s reputation. Whether they are journalists, economists, fashion or cooking enthusiasts, their opinions count more than the promise of the brand itself.

Whether agency-based or company-based, from data analysis to the writing and illustration of strategic content, it is essential to be able to successfully manage the relationship with these new players in communications, and to know how to utilise all the digital influence levers that will allow for the best management of the brand’s e-reputation.

The MSc in Digital Communications and Influencing Strategy aims to educate students to become communications managers with the ability to design, organise and control the image of a company, a product or an event within its own environment, both internally and externally.

These future communications managers will be capable of leading a team, understanding media culture and the challenges of information, and mastering digital communication strategies and the e-reputation of brands and companies, whilst being fully conscious of the ethical and socially-responsible dimension involved in communications.

This programme is carried out in partnership with the ISCPA (Institut Supérieur des Médias), a higher education establishment specialising in media studies, based in Paris, Lyon and Toulouse.

The entire study programme will take place in Niort, a city with a dynamic economy generating many job opportunities.

The city is located in New Aquitaine, which means you will be immersed in one of the most dynamic regions in terms of employment, ranking third on the list of wealth-generating regions in France. It boasts more than 50,000 companies with many of the key players in the field of cutting-edge technology choosing to base their headquarters here.

Niort itself is the preferred location for many of the major insurance companies, making the Niortais area the 4th largest financial centre in France. In fact, the programme itself takes place in the premises of Niort Tech, which is also the home of French AssurTech, an initiative that brings together the leaders of eight major insurance companies (MAIF, MAAF, Groupama, IMA, MACIF, Mutuelle de Poitiers Assurances, SMACL, P&V Group) around a common objective... to develop the insurance world of tomorrow, by assisting, in particular, innovative start-ups to meet the challenges facing the insurance industry. Our classrooms on these premises are fully-equipped, enabling you to evolve in an environment conducive to creativity.
