    The Master of Arts in Design Direction and Creative Media will prepare you for managing creative projects whilst improving your skills in Graphic Design, UX/UI Design, Audiovisual Design and Motion Design.

    Through a particular focus on the management of audiovisual and animation projects, you will acquire the necessary skills to manage a communications or advertising agency, leading a team of creatives.

    Pedagogy focussing on creative design through vocational experience

    At Excelia Digital School, we take a fresh approach to education! Whether through lessons in Creative Writing, Virtual Reality, Audiovisual Production or Image Creation Management, the programme goes beyond simple theory. You will very quickly be introduced to the practical side of digital design and have the opportunity to experience the real world through Excelia Digital Studio, which ensures close collaboration with companies.     Assessment:

    Types of evaluation:

    • Continuous assessment: 40% of the final mark. Throughout the year, you will work on group or individual projects, which will be marked by your teachers.
    • End-of-semester exams: 60% of the final mark. At the end of each semester, you will be assessed via written or computer-based exams.

    Workshops

    A learning activity which provides students with the opportunity to develop a creative design project, putting their knowledge and technical skills into practice when faced with a business challenge.

     

    Business Game

    Carried out as a company game, students work in teams to tackle and solve real-life business issues.

     

    Consultancy Project

    The aim of the Consultancy Project is to give students the opportunity of becoming actual consultants on a topic or a real-life issue on behalf of one of our partner companies. Throughout the year, this highlight of the programme includes agency pitches, communications plans, and the production of graphic media.

     

    Learning Expedition

    An educational adventure designed to give students the opportunity to leave the classroom and experience a new environment, working alongside a recognised player in the field of digital technology.

     

    Personalised Support and Guidance from a Mentor

    Throughout your studies, you will benefit from personalised support and guidance from a mentor. The school also offers workshops structured around personal development (self-awareness and self-assertion), communication tools (such as CVs and cover letters), understanding the job market, learning about different careers and developing your professional network.

     

    Masterclasses

    Learn more about a specific profession or a topical issue in the field of creative design from a recognised expert.

     

    Student Clubs and Associations

    You have the possibility of getting involved in one of Excelia’s 50 clubs and associations, enabling you to develop your skills and knowledge in a supportive and professionally-oriented environment.     Multiservice charge

    Fee: €250

    This one-off Multiservice fee gives access to the following services: Multimedia and Internet network, Cyberlibris (online library), Student Identity Card, Reprographics credit, Intranet, e-learning modules, Wi-Fi, Career Centre activities and services, International Insurance-Assistance (for any periods spent abroad during the period covered by this contract), University library, University Medical Service etc.
