Biography
Hamidreza Khodaverdi obtained a Doctorate in Marketing from the University of Lyon 2 (Lumière). He joined Excelia Business School in 2025 as an Assistant Professor in Marketing. Prior to joining Excelia, he served as a Teaching and Research Assistant (ATER) at the University of Lyon 2 from 2023 to 2025, where he contributed to both teaching and research activities.
His research interests lie in gamification, customer engagement, social marketing, and consumer behavior. He also has a strong methodological orientation, combining quantitative approaches—such as structural equation modeling and experimental design—with qualitative methods, particularly netnography. His work explores how digital technologies and innovative marketing tools can influence consumer psychology and foster sustainable and health-related behaviors.
In addition to his academic research, he teaches courses in Marketing research, digital marketing, and service management.
