Biography
Hamidreza Rezaei serves as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Supply Chain, Purchasing & Project Management at Excelia Business School, a position he has held since September 2025. He earned MSc degrees in Industrial Engineering from the University of Tehran (Tehran, Iran) and in Mechanical Engineering from École Nationale Supérieure des Arts et Métiers (Paris, France) in 2017. He subsequently completed his Ph.D. in Supply Chain Optimization at IMT Atlantique (Nantes, France) in 2022.
His research lies at the intersection of operations research and supply chain design, with a particular focus on the integration of financial decision-making and facility location. More recently, his work has expanded to the design of sustainable and flexible assembly lines, incorporating circular economy principles. His methodological expertise includes mathematical programming as well as heuristic and metaheuristic optimization, which he applies to real-world challenges in manufacturing and logistics systems.
