Excelia extends a warm welcome to its international students by organising integration days at the beginning of the academic year in September.
In September 2025, we had the pleasure of welcoming nearly 300 international students during the Welcome Days, organised each semester by the Excelia International Office. This key event is designed to facilitate the integration of new international students, whether they are exchange students or enrolled in one of our degree programmes.
Warm and engaging orientation days
- A welcoming coffee reception and an informal morning meet-up to get to know each other
- An Institutional Overview and an Inspiration Talk to discover Excelia’s culture and values
- A dedicated programme presentation for exchange students
- A Service Fair and guided tours of the La Rochelle campus
- A half-day dedicated to administrative formalities for non-EU students
This comprehensive orientation programme helps our international students find their bearings on campus, meet the staff, and prepare for their new academic life in France in the best possible way.
The Excelia Welcome Days are organised each year across all four campuses — La Rochelle, Tours, Orléans and Paris — each offering a unique experience adapted to its local environment.
A fun and friendly integration event
After the theory, it was time for some fun! This year, the International Office invited new arrivals to take part in an Urban Scavenger Hunt to discover La Rochelle through a city adventure filled with team challenges. The day ended on a festive note with a Get Together Party on campus.
A wonderful opportunity to make friends, share laughs, and start the academic year on a positive note!
