Bachelor in Business

The Bachelor in Business is the flagship programme of the Orleans site. This three-year programme (a State-recognised degree with Bachelor's grade) offers you a comprehensive approach to management and commerce. You will develop operational skills through 24 months of professional experience. Work-study placements are available from the 2nd year over 24 months in Orleans, ideal for funding your studies whilst gaining concrete experience. The available specialisations (Digital Marketing, International Business, Banking and Insurance…) will allow you to stand out in the job market.

 

Other Bac+4/Bac+5 pathways

After your Bachelor in Business, you can continue your studies in Orleans with more advanced programmes. The Masters of Science (MSc) at Master's level offer advanced specialisations in Marketing, Management, Finance, or Supply Chain, in line with recruiters' expectations.        The REMI network

      The REMI network (standing for Réseau de Mobilité Interurbaine — Interurban Mobility Network) is the name of the multimodal network organised by the Centre-Val de Loire Region, which includes:

      - Rémi Express trains (replacing the Intercités trains taken over by the Region: Paris–Orleans–Tours, Paris–Bourges–Montluçon, and Paris–Montargis–Nevers)
      - Rémi trains (replacing TER regional trains)
      - Rémi coaches, which include within each department, and outside urban areas: former TER coach lines, regular interurban lines, on-demand transport lines, and school transport lines

       SNCF (15 minutes on foot from Excelia)

      The Orleans metropolitan area, home to nearly 300,000 inhabitants, is located one hour from Paris. Orleans SNCF station operates 150 trains every day, including 70 trains for the daily Tours–Orleans–Paris services, and two overnight trains providing a daily connection to Madrid and Barcelona departing from Les Aubrais–Orleans (with a shuttle link between Orléans and Fleury-les-Aubrais).

      For daily commuting or leisure rides, dedicated safe cycling routes are expanding across the Orleans metropolitan area: 428 km of cycle paths and long-term bike hire offer cyclists considerable mobility.

      Accommodation

      Every student starting their studies faces an unavoidable step: finding accommodation! And it is not always straightforward, especially when you do not know the city and must stick to a budget.

      The criterion of location is also important. If you enjoy lively neighbourhoods, opt for the city centre. The neighbourhoods surrounding the centre are also a good compromise, such as the Madeleine, Châteaudun, and Faubourg Bannier districts on the right bank.

      For proximity to Excelia whilst remaining close to the centre, focus your search on the Madeleine district. The arrival of tram line B in this area and the extensive road improvements allow you to reach the city centre in just a few minutes!

       YEP'S, the youth pass for Centre-Val de Loire

      The YEP'S pass culture wallet allows you to discover partner cultural venues and benefit from discounts and special offers on numerous events: shows, concerts, festivals, cinema, book purchases, château visits, parks, gardens, museums, and outdoor activities. It also gives you free access to a major cultural venue in each department of the region.

      ♦ L'Astrolabe

      On the top floor of the Baron complex, L'Astrolabe is the "temple" of contemporary music in Orleans, dedicated to fans of rock, electronic music, chanson, reggae, hip hop...

      Its two venues, L'Astrolabe (550 seats) and L'Astroclub (180 seats), host approximately 80 concerts from September to June.

      The university cultural centre, "Le Bouillon", located at the heart of the student district, features two venues hosting numerous concerts and performances.

      A performance hall with 160 seated places and a contemporary music venue with a capacity of 180 spectators allow Le Bouillon to host a varied programme throughout the year covering many artistic disciplines.

      Student associations and sport

      Excelia supports student association life and recognises involvement as an integral part of the student experience.

      Joining an association is first and foremost an adventure. But it is also an opportunity to concretely develop your leadership, your ability to push yourself and surprise yourself.

      At the Orleans site you will find the legendary Student Union (Bureau des Étudiants), which is responsible for student cohesion, coordinating and animating all student activities and social events.

      The Sports Committee (Bureau des Sports) organises sporting events. It oversees daily training sessions and organises student competitions.

      ♦ As a host to major sporting events such as the Orleans Tennis Open, the Orleans Masters Badminton, and the Women's Sabre World Cup, the city of Orleans actively encourages and supports sporting activity.
