Transport
La Rochelle offers many possibilities to get around in an environmentally-friendly way thanks to a developed network of public transport (Yélo), cycle paths and pedestrianised areas.
By bus or sea bus
We strongly recommend that you sign up for a monthly bus pass at a preferential student rate. For only € 23.00 per month, you have unlimited access to all buses in and around La Rochelle.

By bike
La Rochelle’s yellow, or ‘Yélo’, bikes can be hired at various points throughout the city. An annual subscription costs between €20.00 and €25.00.

You can hire the Yélo Mobile electric cars by taking out a monthly subscription. Car hire is charged at an hourly rate.

Excelia is only a 2-kilometre walk from the city centre and there is a variety of different shops nearby.

The Group’s cafeteria
The Kfet, the Group’s cafeteria, is a great place to meet up. You can pick up a snack, a sandwich, a hot meal and, of course, hot and cold drinks… the best solution for those short breaks in your day.
University restaurants
There are five university restaurants on the La Rochelle campus, serving full hot meals at reasonable prices all year round. One of them is located just opposite Excelia.

Excelia is located at the heart of the Minimes campus, just 10 minutes from the city centre and a stone’s throw from the ocean.

The first digital library in Europe, Cyberlibris offers 6500 works in the field of business and management, of which 70% are in English, along with iconographic collections, all accessible 24/7.

Library resources are accessible 24/7, from wherever you are in the world… during an internship, a year out, academic expatriation etc.
International Student Card – ISIC
The ISIC card is an internationally-recognised student ID card. The card gives you access to a variety of services such as reduced prices (transport, cinema, newspapers etc.) as well as providing you with access to university libraries abroad. You also need this card to be able to use the photocopiers at Excelia.
Intranet and WIFI access
MyIntranet provides access to lessons, timetables and schedules, the Group’s news, as well as providing you with an internal email address.
University medical service
Through the ‘Service de médecine universitaire’, you have access to :
- an infirmary service, health checks, hearing and eye tests, vaccinations etc.
- doctor’s appointments to obtain medical certificates (for internships, projects abroad etc.)
- a friendly ear and psychological support
- appointments for gynaecological- and contraception-related issues
- appointments for dietary-related issues
The Médiathèque multimedia library
Resources : 11 200 books housed in the library, 7000 works accessible online, 70 newspaper/magazine subscriptions, 11 databases.

TOURS CAMPUS
Excelia goes on developing and opens a new campus in the city of Tours.
