The CROUS of Poitiers offers six university residences on the La Rochelle campus, providing affordable accommodation.
The CROUS accommodations are prioritised for students receiving French government grants. In the first semester, there are no places in these residences for students who do not meet the grant criteria. However, it is possible to apply for a CROUS residence for the second semester, even without a grant, as there may be some availability during this period.

The CLLAJ17 is a non-profit organisation aimed at supporting all young people aged 16 to 30 in their search for housing.
Its mission is to welcome, inform, guide, and assist young people in their projects of finding independent housing.

The ARHPEJ, formerly ARPAE, is a non-profit organisation that manages 4 residences, with over 640 accommodations, for students located at the heart of the university park, near the city centre and the old port.

La Rochelle Youth Hostel

Ideally located in relation to Excelia, the Youth Hostel can be a temporary housing solution. Excelia students benefit from negotiated rates, so remember to bring your student card or certificate of enrolment. Be aware that during the summer and September, demand is very high.

The House of Housing is an association under the 1901 law that provides information about access to housing and offers a free service for registering social housing applications across the 22 municipalities of the Orléans metropolitan area. The CROUS of Cachan prioritises students receiving the French government scholarship. However, from the second semester, starting in January/February, the CROUS will consider applications from non-scholarship students and international students.
