Your questions about the delayed intake

When do the 2027 delayed intakes take place at Excelia?: Bachelor Business (entry into year 1 after high school) starts in January 2027. Excelia First Year (entry into year 1 after high school), the Grande École Programme, the MSc International Business Management (entry into Master 1) and the International Foundation Programme all start in February 2027, on the Paris and La Rochelle campuses.
Can I change direction mid-year with the delayed intake?: Yes. The delayed intake is a second chance to choose a path that suits you, by joining a programme during the year rather than waiting for the following intake.
Is the delayed intake suitable for international students?: Yes. Some foreign school calendars are not aligned with the French academic year. Excelia lets you start in January or February, with a dedicated track to strengthen your academic foundations and your French if needed.
Are the fees the same for French and international students?: No. Each programme has an EU fee and a non-EU fee, the latter benefiting from an early bird offer for any application submitted before 30 October. The amounts are shown for each programme.
How do I apply for a delayed intake at Excelia?: Admission is based on a motivation interview. You submit your application online, then speak with a member of the admissions panel in a live video interview or a pre-recorded video, depending on the procedure. Applications are submitted at xlconnect.excelia.fr.
How do the admissions sessions work?: For the France admissions process, an admissions session is held every month from September 2026. For the international admissions process, applications are processed on a rolling basis, at any time.
