    Work-study: 12 months

Year 3 of the programme is carried out on a Work-study Track, based in La Rochelle (as of the 2024-2025 academic year, it will be based in Niort). Once you have been accepted onto the programme, we will assist you in your search for a work-study opportunity, to be carried out via a contrat de professionnalisation (professional training contract), contrat d’apprentissage (apprenticeship contract) or a convention de stage alterné (work-study internship agreement).

The work-study track will provide you with significant professional experience whilst earning a salary and, in the case of a contrat de professionnalisation or a contrat d'apprentissage, your tuition fees will be paid by the host company.

    Communications Agency Challenge

This educational project comprises a contest between communications agencies, providing students with the opportunity to tackle a real company-related issue. For the 2020-2021 challenge, our students worked with La Rochelle’s Rugby Club, Stade Rochelais.

    Consultancy Project

Students are given the opportunity to act as consultants working on a specific theme or issue for one of our partner companies. In January 2021, the students developed a proposal for the company Ullo World.

A learning activity which provides students with the opportunity to put their technical knowledge and skills into practice, and to develop their interpersonal skills when faced with a business challenge. The aim is to provide practical experience, and to develop group cohesion and autonomy, which are essential for any professional career. Among others, Excelia Digital School has already collaborated with Le Chantier des Francos, Le Festival du Cinéma de La Rochelle, Bovinext, the MM Festival, 15marches, Games Partners and La Proue.

    Digital Studio

On the premises of one of our partners, students work in communications studio mode on a list of projects for local companies. In 2020-2021, students worked in the Centre Intermondes, an impressive 19th century building used as the venue for international artists in residence in La Rochelle.

    Learning Expedition

An educational adventure designed to give students the opportunity to leave the classroom and experience a new environment, working alongside a recognised player in the field of digital technology.

    Humacité© / Climacité© Project: 2 months

In Year 2 of the programme, you can undertake a social, humanitarian or civic voluntary project in an NGO or an association, either in France or abroad. This is one of the unique features of Excelia, which is committed to educating students to become future managers who are both responsible and conscious of the importance of their role in society.

Vocationally-oriented, this Work-study Track is compulsory in Year 3. Students benefit from assistance in their search for a contract with a company.
