A native of Morocco, Dr Fatiha Naoui came to France to pursue her graduate studies, which she completed in 2010, when she obtained her Doctorate in Management Science, specialising in Supply Chain Management, from the IAE of Caen Basse-Normandie.
Before joining Excelia Business School in 2007, on a research contract, she was a temporary Teacher and Researcher at the University of Le Havre, and then at the IUT of La Rochelle, as well as a Research Analyst for the European Commission, working on Supply Chain projects for SMEs in the European agri-food industry.
As an Associate Professor, Dr Naoui teaches across all the programmes offered by Excelia Business School, and is responsible for the teaching of Purchasing and Supply Chain. Her research work has been included in internationally-renowned peer-reviewed journals and conferences.
Concurrently, she supervises and corrects Master-level theses, participates in the Admissions Boards (for French and international students), and contributes to the pedagogical engineering of specialised programmes in Logistics. She is also involved in the La Rochelle Chamber of Commerce and Industry’s Concours Emergence, an initiative which promotes entrepreneurship by rewarding young local innovative companies. In particular, Dr Naoui organises research days for the School, with the aim of bringing together French and international professionals and academics to collaborate on research work related to the challenges of specific management disciplines.
With a strong belief in the values of solidarity and proximity, she encourages the sharing and exchange of knowledge and ideas with her students, and is on hand to support and guide those experiencing difficulties, whether academic or personal.
