Biography

Dr Morgane M.C. Fritz first worked as a project-based employee at the Institute for Systems Sciences, Innovation and Sustainability Research at the University of Graz, Austria. She participated in several European and Austrian research projects on topics such as Sustainable Energy Supply and Business Models in medium-sized cities, Processing of Critical Raw Materials from Industrial Waste, and the development of a Platform for Data Exchange and Sustainability Indicators in the Supply Chain.
Prior to obtaining her Doctorate in Sustainable Supply Chain Management, in 2017, at the University of Graz, she was a consultant in sustainable mining at denkstatt GmbH (Austria) and IIED (UK) and a Business Developer for the recycling of waste materials such as concrete and clinker.

She joined Excelia Business School in 2018 as Assistant Professor in Supply Chain Management, before becoming Associate Professor in September 2019. She also supervises students in their theses for their Master qualification.

Her research activities and interests have led to numerous publications in peer-reviewed journals, book chapters and reports for industry, in collaboration with other international researchers. Dr Morgane M.C. Fritz also acts as a reviewer for several academic journals.
