- Teaching fields French as a Foreign Language
Frédérique Babin obtained a Master degree in Didactics of French as a Foreign Language and World Languages after her initial Bachelor in Applied Foreign Languages (English and Russian) and a DUT qualification in Marketing Techniques. She then went on to specialise in the teaching of French as a Foreign Language, in which she is now fully qualified.
After an initial 3-year period spent in the Netherlands working at the renowned language institute Regina Coeli, the Alliance Française and the Tilburg Chamber of Commerce, she joined Excelia Business School in 1994 as a Lecturer, where she has continued to develop her passion... teaching the French language and culture to students from the four corners of the globe.
Frédérique Babin has set herself clear objectives: Firstly, to transmit her love for our beautiful language and civilisation. Secondly, to ensure that the local population is consulted in any surveys and involved in any cultural events. Finally, to work with international students, giving them all they need to settle in to life in France and successfully complete their studies so that, once back in their home country, and enriched by the experiences they have lived, they will contribute to promoting both France and Excelia around the world.
