Dr. Amir Hasnaoui is an Associate Professor in Finance and Information Systems. He is the Head of Finance, Accounting and Information Systems Department at La Rochelle Business School.
Dr. Hasnaoui holds a Master of Finance as well as a Professional Masters in Information Technologies from The Institute of Advanced Business Studies – IHEC Carthage (Tunisia), an MPhil in Management Science from the Institute of Business Administration - IAE Poitiers (France), and PhD in Management Science from Telecom Business School and the University of Evry (France).

Dr. Hasnaoui joined the La Rochelle Business School faculty in 2005 as a research assistant, became an assistant professor two years later, and was promoted to associate professor in 2012.
He teaches Financial Management, Information Systems Management and Electronic Commerce. His main research focuses on Fintech, electronic payment systems (B2C) and the appropriation of Information Communication Technology (ICT). He worked in particular on the impact of ICT on education and on Corporate Social Responsibility.
Dr. Hasnaoui published several articles in peer reviewed journals. He organizes and participates in several national and international conferences (AIM, AFFI, AoM, EURAM, ECIG, etc.). He is also actively involved in the process of evaluation of several conferences, workshops and journals. In addition, he sat for 10 years on the Management Board of the academic association: Association Information & Management (AIM).
