Maxime Gambini began his academic career by studying history at the University of Caen. He then specialized in business communication. He went on to specialise in marketing with a Masters in Management from Groupe Sup de Co La Rochelle
His first professional career was in event management particularly with an international dimension for the French public service with the Memorial Museum for Peace in Paris (inaugurated by François Mitterrand and Helmut Kohl). There he organised the invitation of Mikael Gorbachev in the context of "Arguments for Peace".

He then joined the world of education as Head of Communication, for Groupe Sup de Co La Rochelle. He contributed to the diversification of the business portfolio by developing different bachelor and master programmes in the fields of management and tourism. Under his stewardship in the last 10 years, the student numbers have tripled.

He has also been involved directly in educational activities including lecturing in marketing.

Nominated as Associate Dean for Communication, Development and Marketing for Groupe Sup de Co La Rochelle, he coordinates the recruitment of students in national and international markets for the Group's various educational sites. In the previous three years, the Groupe has attained the prestigious International AACSB accreditation and since 2013 has been listed in the top 50 Global Business Schools (source: Financial Times).

He develops and manages the Group's representative offices present in eight countries in the world and all the partnerships generated through this activity.
